I finished the body and one sleeve of Samus and blocked them. As a break from the endless stockinette, I decided to sew the shoulder seams together and sew in the first sleeve. They fit perfectly :-)
I tried the sweater on and the sleeve is at least 2 inches too long! I can't fold the cuff back, obviously, because that would hide the saxon braid on the cuffs. I decided I needed to frog it back and re knit it shorter. I hope this works. I plan to frog back to the last increase and then start the decreases for the shouder cap. It makes sense to me that it would work...
I also think I will work the applied I cord with needles 2 sizes smaller than the rest of the sweater. I think a smaller I cord may look better...who knows :-)
I orderd my zipper from zipperstop and it should arrive next week. I ordered the color copper...I hope it matches pretty well, it is hard to say looking at the monitor.
And last but not least...I ordered the pattern and yarn for the Snowflakes and arrows vest from Knitpicks
I ordered the purple and black colors like the picture but the black and one of the purples is backordered and expected to be in around December 1. That is ok because that will leave me time to finish up my KR gift elf present before then.

Wow.. that snowflake vest looks REALLY hard! You're braver than I am : )
It's always a good feeling when sleeves and bodies meet up together...
PS. Ummm... is your Blog supposed to have gigantic font size? It's like.. crazy big!
HI!
Umm...no, my blog is not supposed to have a big font size. I went and looked and I had deleted a closing tag for a header size. I didn't notice because it looked fine with Mozilla...IE wasn't smart enough to know what I really meant lol...
I don't think the vest will be too hard. It will be working with two colors and stranding the yarn but I image there is a chart to follow...I am up for the challenge!
