Yes, that's right, I have actually finished 1 sock of the Pensacola Jaywalkers. Why do I call them Pensacola Jaywalkers? Because the husband and I went to Pensacola last spring and of course I found a yarn shop to visit. There is only one yarn store in Pensacola!! A lot of houses along the ocean are being rebuilt after Hurricane George (I think) and they all seem to be pink and yellow, and orange. I saw this yarn and it reminded me of those houses.
What? You want to see the sock? Ok, Ok ,here it is in all it's glory.
For the life of me, I will never figure out how to take a decent picture of a sock. They always look weird to me
I am still happily living in Second Life. Can't recall if I told my many readers (ha!) that I am a teacher in SecondLife. I teach people how to build things...all sorts of things. This past month has been Christmas themed things like kissing under the mistletoe (mmmm), a personalized greeting card and a doormat that plays music. This week I have a new class....a bottle of Champagne that gives you a Champagne flute to drink from. Which reminds me, I need to go to the wine store :-)
I have met many wonderful people in SL and have developed some meaningful relationships. You do get to know the person behind the avatar, if you are lucky. :-) There are so many things to do and see in SL, you have to check it out for yourself!
