I won best of fair!

I entered my Market Squares bag and another felted tote in the local county fair. I won 1st place and best of fair in the knitting class for the market squares bag and second place for the other tote! I don't have a pic of the other tote because I finished it just before I entered it in the competition. I will post pics Sunday after I pick up the totes from the fair.

Both patterns are from Bags: A Knitter's Dozen. The second bag is the red and black one and I did it in the same colors as the example in the book using Cascade 220. It felted like a dream. I actually thought that one would do better than the market squares bag because I think it felted better. Not a single stitch to be seen anywhere, but you can see stitches in my MSB. Oh well, I won, that is all that matters!
