Here is a picture of the progress I have made on my vest. I have just completed 6 repeats of chart 1. One more repeat and then I will start alternating the background colors between the darkes purple and the medium purple. I haven't come across anymore mistakes (fingers crossed)
Here is a close up of the stitching. I had hoped you could see where it is acting a little puckery but it did not show up. I am hoping it will go away with blocking. I am being careful not to pull my yarn too tight so I don't think that is the cause.
And just because I think he is so dog gone (no pun intended!) cute...here is a picture of my baby Reno:
I don't know if you can see it, but just to the right of his nose, he has a cut on his upper lip. He decided to spend the day outside yesterday and must have gotten in a fight with one of the neighborhood cats.

that vest is looking good! i think that the puckering should go away with the blocking!
great job
Thanks!
I keep putting it down to work on a couple of other things. Maybe once I get to the next color I will be a little more interested in it lol.
Hey Kim--
I kind of like the puckery thing...makes it look lush and cozy. Knit on, dear.
Thanks Terri..
I am knitting away...finding mistakes in the pattern as I go...
Just popping in from Knitters Review - and I quite admire the purple vest. I wouldn't worry either, about the puckering unless it feels tight. I always wet block - whatever I knit is likely to need a bath by the time I'm done with it anyway - and it always erases my worst knitting sins.
Lovely projects.
It's looks really nice - cool motif! poor wittle reno =(
