I finished re knitting the left front of the Lana Grossa cardigan. I blocked it and re-attached it to the previously knit back and sleeve. I think it is going to work. It is smaller, hard to tell without the other half. It took me 4 days to re knit, but I had several hours in the ER with my daughter on Tuesday night (don't ask!) so the right half may take a bit longer. I have cast on for the right half but that is it.
I think I am going to get some grosgrain ribbon and sew it down the edges of both fronts. The fronts just seemed so unstable and the buttons really pulled the one side down...and they were the lightest buttons I could find. I am hoping the ribbon will stabalize the edges and help it not stretch out so much.
Because I have been working on this, I haven't been making progress on my stash for the Summer of Stash project, but once this is finished I know I will :-)

There are few places more stressful than the ER, so I feel very sorry your daughter and you =( Glad you got a lot of knitting done, though. I'm really shocked you did it so fast, b/c that seems like a LOT of knitting to me. Looking forward to seeing the pics!
Hope your daughter is ok =)
