Progess, maybe?

Today I seem to be feeling pretty good. I still haven't been real active but feel more like me.

I actually made it to a hair appointment. When I left the house I felt pretty good, but by time I made it to the appointment I was tired. I am amazed that sitting in the car and driving for 15 minutes can tire me out, but it does. And talking with the hairdresser was also a bit taxing.

I was asked to attend a meeting via conference phone by my superintendent. It is budget season and we needed to firm up our budget for next year. It was great that he included me in the meeting; past superintendents would not have done that. And it was a meeting that I definitely needed to be at. For the first time since I have been Technology Coordinator, we will have a set line in the budget that will continue year to year. And it was not slashed in half as it has been in the past. AND the technology committee actually had input on what to purchase and where it should go. The nice thing about the conference call was I could sit on the couch and knit during the whole meeting....wish I could do that during the real meetings!

So I am scheduled to go back to work on Monday. I still have my doubts but will see how it goes. I may end up working half days for a while to ease back into things.

On a final note....do you know how special it is to have someone you care deeply about take the time to let you know they are thinking of you? I do! 143
