And how would I know it is cold outside? Because I went for a walk today...YAY ME! I didn't go far or fast, but at least I got out a little. Not much to see this time of year but I did take a few pics along the way. This is the stream that runs behind our house. Later in the spring, the water will be up to the tree on the left. This is a picture from the corner of Rolfe and Bear Hill, looking towards my house. You can't see my house from this pic, it is two houses beyond the yellow one on the same side.
This picture is the same creek, but behind my house.
And same creek, but with the cattails in the pic too. (God I must be sooo bored to take pics of cattails!)
This is a little further south, still behind my house. This is some pampas grass I planted a couple years ago. The building in the back ground is the Palmyra Town Hall. That building used to be the Mormon Church, before they built the Temple and the new church.
Yeah, really bored....close up of the pampas grass!
Boy, that little walk tired me out. Took 10 minutes of just sitting on the couch to slow my breathing to normal. Still feel a bit breathless but not bad. I am sort of glad it is winter, when I am not as active. If it were nicer weather, i would normally be walking 3-4 miles a day...that is so not going to happen right now.
I know I keep saying the jaywalker is almost done, but really it is. I am at the toe decreases now and only have 10 rounds to go.
Oh and remember the Pinwheel Sweater ? I sort of put it on hold because it wasn't fitting correctly. The...ummm..girls....were not getting enough coverage. On a whim I pulled it out again today and tried it on. It is fitting better. I guess losing 20 lbs (well, 21 to be exact, but who's counting) makes a big difference! I had lost 13 before I went into the hospital just by cutting out snacks at night. I have lost the other 8 since going into the hospital. I think I will call it the PE diet lol. Great way to lose weight but I don't recommend it to anyone, hehe.
Ok off to finish the jaywalker, for real this time!
