and, just like I knew in my heart, the shorter one is the better one to go with. So...this afternoon I frogged it and this is what I have left.
I just started ripping it out and hubby helped me wind some of the yarn. It wasn't too hard to rip out. In the sections with the two different colors of purple, I had to rip a row of light purple, then a row of dark purple and then I could rip a couple of rows of black and begin again. I just kept ripping until I got to the dark purple section and then I reinserted my needle back in the vest two rows above where I really wanted to end. That way I could tink back the last two rows and make sure everything was on the same row and going in the right direction.
I am not sure when I am actually going to start knitting this again. Probably soon, but I am workng on the cascading cables sweater from the Fall IK and I am enjoying the large needles and the chunky yarn.

Kim, thanks as always for your help with my knit tracker! I love the Snowflake vest. Even though you have to reknit, I know it will be lovely when it's finished. Great colors, too!
